LONDON, CMC – Jamaican sprint sensation Usain Bolt disclosed Thursday he had suffered a back injury but was quick to say he has gotten over the problems, which had led to hamstring troubles.
Less than a week before his opening 100 metres race at the 30th Olympiad here in the United Kingdom capital, Bolt said he was able to train fully over the last two weeks, most of which were spent at Jamaica’s Pre Olympic Camp in Birmingham.
“My back was just a little bit stiff and it caused problems with my hamstring, but I am over that,” he said while adding “it’s fixed and I am training well over the last two and a half weeks.”
