No Support
SCARBOROUGH, Tobago, Oct 22, CMC – The Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), Orville London says he will not support the measures in a Green Paper being circulated by the Kamla Persad Bissessar government regarding internal self government for Tobago.
London said he had already warned Opposition Leader Dr. Keith Rowley of lending support to the government’s legislation for internal self government in Tobago, an issue that is likely to dominate the campaign for the 2013 THA elections.
“Let me tell Dr Rowley in front of all of us, and I don’t need to tell him, the day he supports that foolish Green Paper in Parliament, all of us will be meeting him by the airport to turn him back,” said London, as the main opposition People’s National Movement (PNM) held a public meeting here on Sunday night.
