The UWP legislators have said they will not participate in the election to replace outgoing head of state and prominent Caribbean jurist Dr. Nicholas Liverpool, 78, whom Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said had indicated he wanted to step down. But Attorney General Levi Peters, speaking on the state-owned DBS radio on Monday, said the government was following the correct route in selecting the new head of state.
